Packable kayaks are all the rage these days. They’re easy to transport and can go anywhere, but most models are foldable or inflatable, which makes them less rigid than a plastic touring kayak. Pakayak designed a packable plastic kayak that utilizes watertight patented clamps to connect the pieces of the hull.
