Packable kayaks are all the rage these days. They’re easy to transport and can go anywhere, but most models are foldable or inflatable, which makes them less rigid than a plastic touring kayak. Pakayak designed a packable plastic kayak that utilizes watertight patented clamps to connect the pieces of the hull. The kayak packs down to just 3.5 feet, which is small enough to fit just about anywhere—planes, trains, inside of your car or on your back.
